Bird Club in the Kansas City Area

In the Kansas City area, there is an interesting bird club called Beak N' Wings. Beak N' Wings bird club is not in Kansas City but is located in Shawnee Mission, KS. Through Beak N' Wings, you can adopt a bird and learn more about birds. Beak N' Wings is an educational bird club with an active exotic bird rescue and adoption program.

About the Beak N' Wings bird club

Beak N Wings is also a no kill shelter that educates the public on proper bird care at various events around the Kansas City Metro area. Beak N' Wings is a foster home based organization and all of the birds there are housed in the club members' homes.

Foster a bird program

You can also foster a bird through Beak N' Wings but you have to be a member of the club to foster. There are many rules that you must follow and criteria to satisfy such as that you must have a room which to quarantine your foster bird for at least 30 days.

Beak N' Wings provides all veterinary care and pelleted food when available. When you foster a bird, you must feed, water, clean cages and supply toys as needed.
