Lao Buddhist Association of Olathe

In the Kansas City area, both in Kansas and Missouri, you will not find many Buddhist temples or any Buddhist associations. However there are some odd Buddhist temples around such as the Lao Buddhist Association of Olathe, pictured below. The Lao Buddhist Association of Olathe is just someone's house converted into a temple so don't expect a big building or impressive looking establishment. First of all most Laotians and monks are poor and their establishment reflects their monetary standing. This Buddhist temple is run by Laotians and is not a Thai temple.
